Questions & Answers
Is it worth repairing my Shark?
Often, yes. Common problems like a worn belt, a clogged hose or a brush roll that stopped spinning usually cost far less to fix than a new vacuum. We give you a free estimate and our recommendation, and if a repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.
How much does Shark repair cost?
It depends on the model and what's wrong. Bring it in and we'll give you a free estimate, as long as the motor runs. If it doesn't power on, we require a deposit to assess the problem and give you an accurate estimate. A portion of the deposit goes toward any approved repair. No work starts until you approve it.
Do you do Shark warranty repairs?
No. If your Shark is still under warranty, contact Shark first. Once it's out of warranty, we can repair it.
Why did my Shark lose suction?
The most common causes are dirty filters, a full dust cup or a clog in the hose, wand or brush head. If cleaning those doesn't fix it, bring it in and we'll find the problem.
Why is my Shark so hard to push?
Many Shark vacuums lack the airflow to deep clean certain carpets and rugs because they create an airtight seal, which makes them difficult to push. This can get worse as your vacuum ages, from worn parts or a need for a tune-up with one of our Complete Services. Don't get frustrated or overwhelmed. Bring it in, and we'll let you know whether it makes sense to invest in repairing your vacuum or in a new one.
