Questions & Answers
I've never bought from a local store like yours. Am I losing any benefits by not buying directly from Miele?
Not at all. You actually gain. As an Authorized Miele Dealer since 1998, we carry dealer-exclusive models with a 5-year "bumper-to-bumper" warranty you won't find in big-box stores. You can try every model on our showroom floor before you buy, get same-day local delivery, and come back to the same people for service and advice for years to come. And through our loyalty program, you'll save on future purchases and service.
Why do some Miele vacuums only have a 1-year warranty while others have 5?
You've heard the old adage, "you get what you pay for." It applies here. Miele makes certain models only for brick-and-mortar authorized dealers, and they're built with quality upgrades, stronger performance and added features you won't find in the versions sold through other retailers. Those dealer-exclusive models carry a 5-year warranty, while Miele vacuums sold through other retailers typically come with a shorter warranty, often 1 year on Classic C1 models. We'll walk you through which models qualify and what each warranty covers.
I only have a little carpet and a rug. Do I really need an Electro power brush?
A motorized power brush makes a big difference even on a single area rug. Its spinning brush lifts embedded dirt, sand and pet hair that suction alone leaves behind, and it does the work for you, so you push less. If your home is mostly hard floors, a model with an all-floor or parquet tool may be all you need. Bring a photo of your floors and we'll help you decide.
Why is my Miele hard to push?
Most often, it's the floor tool you're using combined with a power setting that isn't the right setup for your particular flooring. Many combination floor tools and air-driven turbo brushes lack the airflow needed to deep clean carpets and rugs, so they suck down onto the floor instead of gliding. The right floor tool, such as an Electro power brush, together with the right power setting usually solves it. Bring your vacuum in and we'll help you find the best setup for your floors.
Do you handle Miele warranty repairs?
Yes. Our Service & Repairs Warranty Center has factory-trained, certified technicians who handle Miele warranty repairs, routine maintenance and out-of-warranty repairs. We'll also handle warranty repairs on Miele vacuums bought elsewhere, as long as you bring proof of purchase (a copy of your receipt).
Can I try a Miele before I buy it?
Absolutely. Our Orlando showroom has the Classic C1, Guard L1 and M1, and Triflex on the floor, ready to try on carpet and hard floors. We also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee if you're not completely satisfied once you get it home.
